Not at all! We’ll be using AI tools that take care of the tech for you, just like having a virtual assistant to handle those techie tasks you’ve struggled with in the past. You’ll be guided step-by-step, with templates and examples designed for small business. No coding or technical skills required. Just follow the simple steps we’ll show you, and AI will do the heavy lifting!

A Custom GPT is like your own personalised AI assistant, built inside ChatGPT and trained specifically for your business.

Instead of using generic AI tools that give hit-and-miss results, a Custom GPT understands your brand voice, your offers, and your processes. It can help you write content, plan campaigns, repurpose posts, create emails, and more, all in a way that feels authentically you.

As we'll be creating Custom AI Assistants to help you with your marketing, you’ll need access to a tool that allows you to create these. The names given to these vary, depending on which platform you are using.

Here’s what they call them on some of the more popular generative AI platforms:

- OpenAI (ChatGPT) - Custom GPT

- Anthropic (Claude) - Project

- Google (Gemini) - Gem

- Microsoft (Copilot) - Agents

- Magai - Persona

We will be showing you how to create them using ChatGPT, however, guidance will be provided on how to modify the instructions and process if you are using any of the above AI platforms.

For most of these platforms, you will require a paid plan in order to access this functionality. For example, for ChatGPT, you will require the Plus plan as a minimum (which is USD$20 per month) in order to be able to create your own Custom GPTs. You won't be able to do this using their free plan. However, this is a low investment when compared to how much time this will save you, combined with the improved outcomes you will be able to achieve.

If are still not sure of the value of a paid plan, you can always sign up to a ChatGPT Pro Plan for this workshop. Then if you don’t see the value of the ongoing subscription afterwards, you can cancel your plan, and/or take your instructions and use them on another platform that offers similar capabilities. 

It depends!

If you’re confidently creating Custom GPTs that sound exactly like your brand, deliver the right outputs every time, and rarely need tweaking, then you’re probably already on track.

But if your results are a bit hit-and-miss, your GPTs aren’t giving you what you hoped for, or you simply haven’t found the time to build and refine them properly, this workshop will be hugely valuable.

You’ll get a full day of focused time, guidance, and support to create AI Assistants faster, better, and more effectively, so you can walk away with Assistants that actually understand your business and deliver reliable, on-brand results every time.

Custom GPTs are not full AI Agents (the kind that can act independently or run multi-step automations), but they are the essential foundation you need before you get there.

Think of this as building your AI Dream Team of AI Assistants who help you plan, write, create, and organise your marketing. Once you’ve mastered this level, you’ll have the skills, structure, and confidence to move into agent-based systems in the future.

Getting these foundations right first ensures that when you do start building AI Agents, they’ll be effective, reliable, and aligned with your business.

We will focus on building AI Agents in a future AI Marketing MegaClass, so you’ll be ready to take that next leap when the time comes.

The live training will be held on Thursday, 20 November 2025, 9am-5pm (online, via Zoom), with recordings provide afterwards. The previous AI Marketing MegaClass recordings are available to access immediately after registering, and the Fast Track AI Catch-Up Workshop will be available on Monday 10 November 2025.

The AI Marketing MegaClass (Build Your AI Dream Team Edition) will be conducted live on Thursday 20 November 2025, 9am-5pm. You will also receive the recordings, which will be available within 24hrs of the event. The bonus trainings (previous AI Marketing MegaClass recordings) are pre-recorded, so you can watch them at your convenience as soon as you sign up or after the live event.
